Friday 10th January - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny and cold.

Walk 1 – sunrise prom.

As we were having the Granddaughter for the day I decided to walk down to the seafront at the end of our road to take some photos of the cold and frosty sunrise to try and get one on the TV weather as I had managed 4 days in a row, sadly I missed out but got sme nice pics so well worth going out in the cold on what was apparentely the coldest day of the winter so far! I did not venture too far just to the new beach hut village and around the pier before heading home to warm up, still a lovely start to the day in wall to wall winter sunshine!

Walk 2 – afternoon stroll with Mag and Maeva as the sun set:)

Mag walked around to pick up Maeva at 10.30, I stayed at home to rest my heel and did my exercises. Maeva arrived in full winter hat and gloves looking rosy in a beautiful blue velvet dress with stars she got for Christmas from my sister:) We had the usual fun with books and puzzles, then after lunch we headed out for an afternoon stroll at 2.30 stopping at Lidl first where maeva had so much fun pushing the big blue basket. She then walked to the swings on Langer Park meeting two friendly dogs on the way! Back in the buggy we cut through to the beach as the sun is slowly setting causing long shadows on the beach. Maeva is quickly out of the buggy and stomping about on the sand her absolute favourite thing! Then a quick spin round the pier and up the long Convalscent Hill and I got a nice shoot of the sun setting behind the docks! Home for tea and some 70’s disco with a very tired Maeva being picked up by her Dad at 7.30 and was fast asleep before she made it home! Top day:)
